Join Baker & Wife in welcoming to Sarasota acclaimed Russian chef and cookbook author Marianna Orlinkova for a 4-course dinner on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.

Baker & Wife is offering two options to choose your own Russian adventure on Wednesday March 6.  There is a four-course prix fixe tasting menu for $80/person available, or diners may select their favorites of the exclusive menu items on à la carte basis.  Baker & Wife’s usual nightly dinner will be available in addition to the Russian Night selections. Reservations are requested for the prix fixe tasting menu, and may be made through Eventbrite or by calling Baker & Wife at  (941) 960-1765.

Baker & Wife chef and owner Isaac Correa spent 22 years in Moscow, Russia during a food revolution that cultivated his love of cuisine. Through his passion for food he met his lovely wife & Russian native, Iya Correa.  Also while living in Russia, Isaac also met visiting Moscow-based chef Marianna Orlinkova. Orlinkova is an acclaimed cookbook author and has been featured through media outlets including BBC World Service on her singular style of cooking.

Expand your international horizons by sampling some of the most authentic Russian food you have ever tasted. Orlinkova’s signature style places a fun, modern twist on classic Russian dishes (menu on p.2). Start off the evening with a perfectly crafted Russian-inspired cocktail from our mixologist Uldis and, of course, a shot of Russian Vodka for an authentic experience. Na Zdorovie!

Borscht

rich soup with cabbage, roasted beets, carrots, bell peppers & potatoes served with sour cream & salted bacon-parsley mousse.

Beef Stroganoff

thinly sliced beef with cepes in a velvety sauce
